Seva - selfless service is central to the spirit of the West Cork Yoga Festival. An ethos of community, sharing and collaboration is what makes it all happen. Essentially we create this event together; core organisers, teachers, healers, volunteers, musicians and the people who come. It is a non-profit event: We don't pay anyone a wage and the profits are donated to local charities or used for expenses to make the event possible.
Be a part of making this event the magical thing that it has been for the last 3 years.
If you would like to get involved, volunteer or have a skill to share, get in touch.
We are looking for
- site crew / volunteers
- food outlets (cafe)
TEACHERS & HEALERS
We would love to involve as many local / regional teachers as we can, so do get in touch with us by emailing.
This is a non-profit event, so all teaching is offered in exchange for your ticket and a small expense payment. You will be asked to share 2-3 hours of teaching over the weekend, so you'll have plenty of time to enjoy the event.
Teachers: Corinna Fisher - email@example.com
Healers: Aine Brosnan - firstname.lastname@example.org
We rely on you to make the festival all that it can be! Each year we have had about 30 volunteers on site to do all the important stuff that makes the festival work. We are looking for people to offer 10 hrs of help before / during / after the festival in the following areas:
- Seed camp (site set up)
- Car park
- Reception tent
- Space caretakers
- General site safety and maintenance
- Taking down stuff on Monday
If you are interested and fancy a FREE ticket to the festival (including camping, but excluding food) then please email us as soon as possible. Volunteering involves giving us 10 hours over the weekend or during seed camp week.
